May not be compatible for some variants manufactured in 2002 or 2003 so checking compatibility as per description before a purchase is necessary. May not work with some variants manufactured in 2011 because of a different seat mat signal. package contents: 1 x Seat Occupancy Mat Sensor Bypass Emulator 1 x Seatbelt warning Light/Alarm Bypass Simulator Compatibility Pre-Check With ignition off move the passenger/driver seat all the way up and lean the seat forward or backwards to gain good access. From the rear under the seat locate small black 4 prong plug with 3 wires WHITE- signal, RED – battery (+), BROWN – ground as in the picture below. This plug is located right underneath the seat and seat occupancy mat wires come from vertical and horizontal seat cushions joint. If other wire colours are present make sure to check the opposite side of the plug which is located at the front or rear of the seat. For some variants, this plug may be hidden under the seat cushions. Also, make sure no to confuse the correct plug with seat heater usually similar 3 wire prong connector. BMW cars manufactured roughly till 2012 future the same colour wires.
