Hello, thank you for visiting this listing. This listing is for a distribution service listing which involves you mailing your copy of Pokemon Black, Pokemon White, Pokemon Black 2 and/or Pokemon White 2 to me, where I will then distribute the Winter 2011 Darkrai to your game. 

 

On November 14th, 2011, a Pokemon distribution event began around the world which would trigger a special in-game event in the Generation 5 games. In this event, gamers during the event period, November 14th to the 31st, could receive an exclusive event Darkrai, making it the first time this Mythical Pokemon would be obtainable natively without transferring across the world in the Generation 5 Pokemon games. Unfortunately, once the event dates passed, the event could no longer be downloaded or accessed and the event was never distributed again. This distribution service is meant to allow those who want to gain access to this rare Darkrai the opportunity to do so many years after the original events run time. This Pokemon makes a great gift for those looking to relive the generation five games with a rare Pokemon, those looking to relive or experience exclusive in-game events for the first time, those looking to authentically complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things.

General Information:

Upon purchase, messaging me or showing interest, I will go ahead and run through all of the requirements your game(s) need to meet in order to receive the service(s) of interest. There are typically other questions I ask as well, usually in regards to customer specifics and the like, but assuming all of your answers demonstrate a clear ability for your game(s) to partake in the service(s), Id then give the okay for you to purchase (assuming you hadnt done so already), and once you have done so, I will send you my address to move things along. I highly recommend you message me before placing an order, as in the event that for whatever reason you cannot receive the given service(s), it makes it so I dont have to cancel any orders, as well as making sure you dont get your hopes up. Regardless of the end result, I encourage you to reach out – please message me if you have any questions, concerns, interests, requests, etc.


(The price of) shipping is all on you; please try finding the most cost effective way to both make sure you arent paying large costs to ship your game(s) out, and also make sure your game(s) remain safe. When your package arrives, I will let you know as soon as possible and work on the services whenever I have the opportunity. 


During the distribution process, I will message you frequently to share updates on how work is progressing. I will always include photos of the important parts of any given service in said updates, so if there is anything specific you would like to make sure I share, please let me know and I will do what I can.


When the distribution service(s) is/are complete and Ive gotten confirmation from you that all of the work Ive done on your game(s) looks correct and as you want it, I will mail your game(s) back to you as soon as I can and youll be free to use your new Darkrai(s) once your package makes a safe return.


This Pokemon is from an authentic Mystery Gift Wonder Card event and is 100% legitimate and legal and is thus compatible with Pokemon Bank and Home.



Detailed Information:

There are two main methods this event Pokemon can be distributed to your game, which will be detailed below. The first method is the one most people will use, so please read below. The first method is simply distributing the Darkrai via the Mystery Gift function. This method is only available for those sending in Black and White rather than Black 2 and White 2, as this Darkrai was distributed before the sequels were released, so the Mystery Gift is not compatible with them. Outside of that, the distribution process for this method is quite simple, as the mystery gift option in Pokemon Black and White should be unlocked from the very start of the game, meaning as long as you have a Wonder Card slot available (which you very likely will since there are 12 slots total), youre ready to partake in the service via this option. This makes the distribution service very easy in this case, as it means theres no real preparations necessary to access and receive this event in most cases. 


Once your game arrives, I will distribute the event Darkrai and Wonder Card onto your save. Please be aware that if there isnt enough space in your Wonder Card inventory that I will have to delete one to make space for the Darkrais Wonder Card, and more importantly, so that I can use and redeem your Darkrai. All you need to do after it has been distributed is to visit any Pokemon Center and talk to the man in blue who stands to the left of the entrance. You will then be given your new event Darkrai! 


The second method I can do for this service is for me to distribute the Mystery Gift to my own copy of a Generation 5 Pokemon game, distribute a Darkrai to it, and then trade said Darkrai over to the game you sent over to me. Now, you may likely be asking why would I ever consider this method over the other? Well, theres actually a handful of reasons as to why you might want this. For one, if youre full on Wonder Cards and dont want to delete any for the Darkrai, then I can trade you over one instead of having to replace one. Another reason would be if you have already had this Darkrai sent to your game in the past and no longer have access to it; mystery gifts can only be sent once, so if you want to get said mystery gift Pokemon again, youll need to trade it over. Another reason is if you want multiple Darkrai on one cartridge for any reason (see bonuses section for more information). As stated in the prior paragraph though, the biggest reason the second method would probably be used in this scenario is if sending in Black 2 and/or White 2, where having this Darkrai traded over is the only option due to the Mystery Gift not sending to those games. Please be aware this method would require you capturing a Pokemon for use as trade fodder. Both methods have their own reasons for being done, but I assume its safe to bet most people would rather go with method one for obvious reasons, unless sending in Black 2 and/or White 2 as already mentioned. 


Darkrai is one of a very small number of non-Generation V Mythicals to receive a native distribution this generation, with most others being locked to transfer only. That is essentially the main reason I decided to make this service, so for those who dont like transferring, I hope this helps! Additionally, in order to be able to trade in both BW and B2W2, you need to have received the C-Gear and also beaten the first gym, so make sure you have this done if you are looking to receive this event Pokemon by trade. Also, if you somehow do not meet the requirements mentioned above to receive the service but send in your cartridge believing you do meet them, I will unfortunately refund you and send your cartridge(s) back, though I cannot refund shipping. Please try to avoid this outcome at all costs; I assure you its not fun for either party.



Bonuses:

MULTIPLE GAMES/DARKRAIS – If you happen to want a Darkrai on multiple of your Pokemon DS games or multiple Darkrais on one copy, or even a mix of both, thats very much an option. Prices will lessen the more games/Darkrais you send or ask for. This services listed price is on a per Darkrai basis. Prices will lessen the more games/Darkrais you send or ask for, as shown below. Keep in mind this list isnt set in stone seeing as I have best offers enabled, so this list is more of a point of reference. Please also note that if you would like multiple Darkrai on one copy that some will need to be traded, as you can only directly receive a Mystery Gift once.

DISCOUNTS – For customers who are already sending in their cartridges or customers who have sent in their cartridges in the past will be offered discounts on any distribution services going forward. The discount will vary from service to service, but if you are/were interested in multiple services, this can act as a great incentive to purchase them. And before you ask, yes, this DOES stack on top of the already existing discounts given from purchasing multiple of the given Pokemon/service.

I often get asked a lot of similar messages and questions about my services, so Ive decided to list many of them along with their answers to prevent as much confusion as possible, as well as a few other important things I feel customers should know. This section is frequently updated with new questions and improved/more detailed answers. 


Do my GBA Pokemon games internal clock battery being dead matter for this service?:

No – your Pokemon games internal battery does not affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead. 


Do you offer a service to replace a GB/GBC/GBA Pokemon games dead (internal clock) battery?

Unfortunately not as of this moment, though I want to in the future. Once I feel comfortable enough with the soldering process (and of course have spare batteries), I will consider it further.


Can I purchase a cartridge with the events already on them, rather than mailing my own game in?

No – I only have one of each Pokemon game, and they are my own personal cartridges. This will very likely never be something I offer, unless I happen to stumble upon spare copies through some means. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening.


Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?

Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. Any that may be considered cheating or not legitimate are explicitly stated as such within their respective descriptions. Feel free to ask about the specific ones if you so wish.


Do you take requests for special and/or custom orders?

I cannot guarantee that Ill be able to help with specific and custom requests, but it never hurts to ask. Feel free to send a message my way and Ill tell you if Ill be able to help out. Every custom request Ive received (assuming its not about mailing you a cartridge with events loaded on them) I have succeeded in fulfilling as of typing this, so hopefully I can keep that streak going. 


Do you offer your services internationally? Can I mail my game in despite being outside of the US?

Yes, all of my services are currently set up for national shipping. Just to say, please be aware of the high costs that come from partaking from outside of the US since you are paying for both shipping to and from. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back.


Do these services work on non-English cartridges?

Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oaks Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldnt work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oaks Letter.


Do I have to send in my system along with the game?

In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no – those cartridges save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system.


Is there any way we can communicate outside of eBay messaging?

Yes – you are free to send me a friend request and message me on Discord via my ID of Mvw#0426 – this is very likely the best way to message me, as Im very active on there (though before friending me, please send a message on eBay letting me know of you sending a friend request so I know who sent it and whether or not to accept said friend request or not.). For the record, I do want to say that the account used is still my personal Discord – I dont have a separate business account or anything, so do with that as you will.


Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?

All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless theyre a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. Im aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards.


Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (XY, SM, USUM, LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?

I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I dont have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as Im sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Regardless, this does tie into the special requests and custom orders section too – if youd like me to perform a service on any of these games, feel free to ask and Ill see what I can do here as well.


Do your services run for a limited time only? Do the listings end once the quantity reaches zero? Should I purchase now to avoid missing out? 

Dont worry – I plan to go ahead and keep these services going for as long as I can, though there will likely be times in the future where I temporarily stop working on them for a bit, likely due to school or vacations and such. Outside of that, no, I do not plan to stop my services anytime soon. Additionally, I always increase the quantity of each service when it gets low, so you will always be able to purchase in the future. With that all said, I advise you to please not purchase unless you feel you are ready to mail your game out, as admittedly due to the way eBay is set up, they do expect me to purchase a shipping label for use within the coming days after a purchase is made, so to avoid that, it is best to wait until you feel ready to proceed with the service.


Why are your shipping times so long? Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?

Dont worry – the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous questions response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when Im ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something Id like to have happen.


How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?

Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your game to someone you dont know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond thats morally wrong! To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also can give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn’t be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea. Finally, I always urge those concerned about such to check the reviews left from previous customers who I have worked with in the past. Anything else I should know?

It goes without saying, but just to have it on here and to make sure it has been properly disclosed with anyone considering partaking in my services, please mail out your games at your own risk and only if you are fully comfortable with doing so. As can happen with any piece of mail being sent out, packages can get lost during the shipping process and may not arrive on time, or unfortunately, may get lost with mailing services being unable to find, locate or recover your package, resulting in the package and game(s) remaining forever missing. As of typing this, I have yet to ever fail at recovering a lost package (including one that was genuinely lost for over three months), but I cannot guarantee the safety of all packages, as packages getting lost can and probably will happen in the future. By partaking in this service or any service I offer now or in the future, you are aware of and acknowledge the possibility of such occurring, no matter how small of a chance it may be. In the unfortunate event of such happening and we both feel we have done everything we can to recover your package to no avail, the most I can do is give you a full refund for your purchased services (shipping may or may not be refunded as well depending on if it got lost when you mailed it to me or when I mailed your game(s) back to you, but anything beyond that I can not and will not help you with.
