This is a stunning A-line, Midi Skirt – by Cotswold Collections.Inside labels states: (Peter MacArthur & Co. Ltd. FABRIC WOVEN IN SCOTLAND). *Only worn a handful of times; being sold in very good, used condition. Paid £139.* Colour: A mixture of warm colours from Purples, Greens, Wine, Burgundy and Yellow/Orange. These form a traditional, Tartan, large check pattern, throughout, (diagonally positioned). UK size = 18, (as stated on inside label), but please check against the measurements below, (as well as the official ‘Cotswold Collections’ website), to ensure fit, as different manufacturers vary in their sizes: I would also say that this is not a very generous UK 18. Measurements (laid flat & measured outside of garment):Width of Waistband: 17 inches (un-stretched). Stretches comfortably to 18.5 inchesTotal Length (from top of waist to hem): 33 inchesWidth of hem, opened up: 40 inches. A beautiful & striking skirt, made with premium quality, 100% Pure New Wool; a fine yarn fabric, making it both very warm to wear and soft-to-touch. Excellent quality materials which you would expect from Cotswold Collections. Other features of the Tartan Midi skirt include: – A classic and elegant skirt finished in an array of beautiful warm colours, and finished in a diagonally positioned, check pattern, throughout- Made using traditional techniques; crafted from superb quality, Tartan check fabric; made in Scotland- Tartan is a very traditional pattern and it never goes out of fashion- Looks very similar to a Scottish Kilt- Being 5ft 5″ the skirt falls to the calf area- Fully lined using shiny blue, 100% Polyester fabric- The waistband is partially elasticated, to the back; this offers both a secure and a tailored fit, when out and about- ‘Mother-of-pearl’ button to the top of the left side zip, (concealed zip)- A heavy-duty garment; it hangs beautifully and offers a very flattering fit- A real statement piece and truly luxurious- Very well made / made to last a lifetime- Offers minimum effort with maximum effect/impact- Made from a very high-end brand; “Cotswold Collections have been established in Cheltenham, (UK), for 30 years.
