Circa ~ Late 19th Century – Early 20th Century Rocco in Design Approximate Dimensions – 38 ” Tall x 26 ” Wide x 12 ” Deep Once used to soften the heat from a roaring fire in the hearth . It can serve a home today as a beautiful decorative shield in the off season, providing stylish coverage for the unused fireplace.The top of this lovely frame features a HAND CARVED WOOD floral bouquet followed by a gorgeous Needlepoint Tapestry of floral design tufted with brass nail heads and the back side covered with luxurious Velvet all standing upon four cabriole legs with hand carved knees and toes . Listed at a price well below others comparative on the market. ** Condition is ” Pre-owned/ Pre-loved Considered Very Good Antique Condition . There is a slight lifting on the backside bottom of the Velvet backing.
