Here, she is depicted as an indigenous woman representative of the tribes that called Utah home before the arrival of Americans and Europeans. She sits on a rock at the base of a tree with a wolf seated at her side. Reverse sides of 1 Gold Utah Goldback Notes do not have a unique design, but rather, reflect the mirror image of the designs engraved onto the obverse of the thin gold notes.
